Welcome to the Department of Jewish Education

The Department of Jewish Education at Leo Baeck College is one of a kind. Our mission is to support, enable and empower those involved in Progressive Jewish Education, and we have a dedicated staff team which provides services and programmes to suit all needs.

An online resource is the next step in making us accessible to more educators. You will see that we accommodate all age groups in what we hope is a user friendly site. We’ve called it , , the umbrella, because we intend it to encompass all your needs as a Jewish Educator, and give you some protection from those elements of your work that are challenging.

We intend to use it to provide you with useful resources, such as curricula, policies, creative ideas, displays, book reviews, information, news and useful links to other sites.
